We’d like to introduce you to the fabulous bunch of shiny new faces that have recently joined us at the iTICKET HQ.
Not in any particular order, we are very lucky to have a position created for the role of Chief Operations Officer – now filled by the lovely Erika Henderson.
Erika joins us from her previous positions in the NZ Racing Board (most recently on their Events Team) and will be managing the day to day operations of the business, overseeing HR and the daily running of the office, while focusing on where iTICKET can tighten up systems and processes as we continue to create an improved experience for our Promoters and Ticket purchasers.
A member of the voluntary working group for the Fantail Network, Erika has a vested interest in creating encouraging and rewarding business environments, to bring out the best in staff. Her working experience has seen her often thrown in the deep end of some interesting situations, from managing over 100 TAB stores at the ripe age of 23, coordinating the stables and equestrian event logistics for the Royal Cavalry of Oman in France for 1.5yrs and volunteering in Mexico where she assisted in childcare for struggling solo parents to enable them to re-enter society and the workforce.
We’re feeling pretty stoked to have her on the team and with Erika whipping us into shape (she’s already had us join the Auckland Walk Challenge – HELP!) this is freeing up the bosses to focus on bigger picture strategy.
