The annual iTICKET Showdown is an Auckland based competition that seeks out the very best in technical production and performing arts for secondary school productions across the wider Auckland region – and we are very proud to support such a fabulous initiative.
Produced by the Auckland Community Theatre Trust, the competition is capped off with a glamorous awards night, recognising all facets of the participating school’s productions across 23 different categories.
This year’s event celebrated the 10th anniversary of the competition, and by the cheers from the audience and heartfelt speeches throughout the awards night – you could tell it continues to be hugely appreciated by the students and school staff alike.
Huge congratulations to all the nominees and winners on the night and big thanks to the judges and organisers for all their time spent throughout the year.
Header image features the Rock of Ages performance by Kaipara College who took out the awards for Best Male Soloist and Best Musical Director on the night.
