Customers will soon be provided with a new payment method when booking their tickets. In addition to the existing Credit Card, and Bank Transfer options currently on offer – Online EFTPOS will soon be available, offering an easy, cost-effective way to pay through select mobile banking apps.

iTICKET has partnered with Paymark to be one of the first Online EFTPOS providers in New Zealand. For the customer, the fast and efficient process is as simple as entering their mobile phone number at checkout, which triggers their compatible banking app to activate the purchase straight from their phone.

With the lowest transaction charge of 1.8% (compared to 2.5% on credit cards), this will be a welcomed addition by the ticket purchaser as well as any promoters who choose to take on booking fees for their customers  – AND to kick things off, this fee will be waived for the first three months, making the Online EFTPOS option a truly compelling payment method!

Due to run site wide in the coming weeks with some great launch incentives in the wings as more banks and other business come on board, we look forward to announcing the arrival of Online EFTPOS very soon.

Note: Online EFTPOS is an optional payment method that you can request to have turned off if you do not want it available for your event – just let us know.
